As she prepares to spend her first Christmas without her parents, Savannah Chrisley knows she has some big shoes to fill this holiday season.

In a pair of Instagram Story videos, the 26-year-old Chrisley Knows Best alum shared how she's gearing up for the winter holiday alongside younger siblings Grayson, 17, and Chloe, 11.

Knowing all the work she has cut out for her, Savannah began by giving a shoutout to caregivers for managing to pull off such a feat annually.

"This is my shoutout to all the moms, dads, caregivers. You are rock stars. This is just a reminder that you're amazing," she said. "This is my first year doing Christmas with the kiddos solo. Like, we'd always do family Christmas, but now this year, it's all me."

However, her early preparations were missing one key element that would've changed nearly everything for her younger siblings. "I forgot to get your gifts. Apparently, that's something that you do," she said.

"My mom always did it. She's a freaking rock star. Greatest mom on Earth," she added of her mother Julie Chrisley, who reported to prison in January at the same time as her husband, Todd Chrisley. "So I've been out doing that and let's face it, teachers deserve it all. I mean, I don't know how they do it. That many kids all day? No way. No way I could possibly do it."

Although Savannah nearly forgot to get the Christmas gifts, she still remembered another important holiday essential.

"Yes, I have stockings, just to clarify, because for some reason, I'm getting a lot of flack on this one," she said. "People are asking. 'Well, do you not have the same stockings you use every year? You know it's a tradition.' Well, I do, okay?"

"I have the same stockings I use every year and I love the needlepoint stockings. But, we just keep adding more people to the family," she added. "So, I want everyone to have their stockings and for everyone to feel at home."

Julie, 50, and Todd, 54, were sentenced in November 2022 to a combined 19 years in prison. They have since received reduced sentences, with Todd now serving 10 years while Julie will serve five.

As the longtime couple continue to await their appeal, the Chrisley family has had to carry on with celebrating several major holidays without them.

The famous bunch recently commemorated their first Thanksgiving. Breaking tradition in doing so, Savannah and her younger siblings spent the occasion in Turks and Caicos with Brittany and Jason Aldean.

"She and her husband graciously opened up their home to us and it just reminded me what awesome people I have in my life and people that just love on us, and they see, like, tough times," Savannah recently shared on her Unlocked podcast.

"It makes me emotional just talking about it because it has been tough not having Mom and Dad home, and to see the people around me that have loved us and cared about us, it made me realize that family isn't just blood," she added. "You can have a family that you weren't born into and, for me, those are friends. Those are friends who show up like family should, and for that I'm so grateful."

Nanny Faye, however, made time to visit her son Todd in prison in between having Thanksgiving dinner in Florida with friends.

"We have never been apart. He's [54] years old and we have never been away at Thanksgiving," she explained on granddaughter Lindsie Chrisley's The Southern Tea podcast. "So, I'm gonna make it my business to be there on Thanksgiving."
