Yes, chef! This weekend's "Saturday Night Live" will prove to be a bear-y special night with this host.

NBC's legendary, late-night comedy show, "Saturday Night Live," is back in full swing after going dark last year. The show took a hiatus beginning in April 2023 as a result of the Writers Guild of America, the union representing many of Hollywood's TV show and film writers, going on strike.

The series returned on Oct. 14, 2023, with the season 49 premiere featuring SNL alum Pete Davidson hosting and Ice Spice as the musical guest. The entire cast from season 48 returned for the premiere, with James Austin Johnson and Sarah Sherman promoted from featured players to repertory players and New York City-based comedian Chloe Troast joining as a new member of the crew.

The series hosted their first show of 2024 on Jan. 20, featuring "Saltburn" and "Priscilla" heartthrob Jacob Elordi as the host and "Mean Girls" star Reneé Rapp as the musical guest.

A new duo of A-listers will be featured on this weekend's episode. Here's everything you need to know.

Who's hosting 'Saturday Night Live' on Feb. 3?

"The Bear" star and stand-up comedian Ayo Edebiri will make her SNL hosting debut during the Feb. 3 show. The rising star has received several honors this year for her work in "The Bear," including a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award.

The series released a promo video ahead of Saturday night's show, featuring Edebiri and the caption "yes, coach" – a play on the "yes, chef" motif from Edebiri's hit series.

Joining Edebiri this weekend is musical guest Jennifer Lopez. The singer is no stranger to the SNL stage: she last hosted the show in 2019, appeared as a musical guest in 2000 and has taken the reins as both host and musical guest in 2001 and 2010.

J.Lo's performance comes just ahead of the release of her ninth studio album, "This is Me ... Now," on Feb. 16.
