Sasha Obama is a high school graduate!

The 18-year-old daughter of former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama graduated from Sidwell Friends School on Sunday, June 9, in Washington, D.C., and her famous family was there to support her.

Barack, Michelle and their older daughter, Malia, 20, were all at the ceremony, for which Sasha wore a simple white dress and her hair down to her shoulders, as seen in a class photo posted on Sidwell's Facebook page.

In a photo making the rounds on Instagram taken by a fellow graduation attendee, Barack flashes a soft smile while wearing a blue blazer and white button-down as Michelle looks on in a black-and-white striped dress that she paired with a thick gold bracelet. Malia is slightly out of frame in a short-sleeved floral top and braids.

The Obamas' appearance at Sasha's graduation comes just weeks after Michelle and Malia helped send Sasha off to senior prom.

Also at Sidwell graduation over the weekend was Obama's former vice-president, Joe Biden. The 2020 presidential candidate attended the ceremony in support of his granddaughter, Maisy, who graduated alongside Sasha. Biden took to his Instagram to share a photo of himself smiling alongside Maisy and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden.

"Jill and I were so thrilled to be there today to watch our amazing granddaughter Maisy graduate from high school," he captioned the photo. "Maisy, you make us so proud and we can’t wait to see what you do next with your talent, smarts, dedication and kindness. The future is yours, and Nana and Pop will always be right behind you."

Jill also shared a congratulatory photo on her own Instagram.

"When I’m around my grandchildren, I remember how incredible life can be...congrats Maisy!" she wrote. "Beyond proud and filled with joy to see you graduate today."

Biden's appearance at the high school graduation made waves because it meant that he was skipping a key voter event in Iowa, where 19 of his Democratic rivals spoke on Sunday.

The Democratic frontrunner stood by his decision when speaking to a room full of donors and lobbyists in the nation's capital, saying, "One of my competitors criticized me for not going to Iowa to talk for 5 minutes. My granddaughter was graduating. It was my daughter’s birthday. I would skip inauguration for that."

Maisy, 18, is the daughter of Biden's surviving son, Hunter, who recently broke up with his late brother Beau's widow, Hallie, after two years of dating. He shares Maisy with ex-wife, Kathleen. They were married for 22 years and divorced in April 2017.

Though unconfirmed, Sasha Obama is rumored to be attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor this fall. Malia is a rising junior at Harvard. For a full rundown of all of the celebrity kids graduating high school this year, click here.
