Will Sasha Banks And Naomi Ever Return To The WWE? Rumors Are Swirling...

Two of WWE’s most popular recently-suspended superstars could be coming back to the company.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer appeared on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast, where he claimed former Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi have been contacted by the WWE to try and make amends.

The two former champions had claimed they felt “disrespected” and “undervalued” before walking out of the May 16 episode of Monday Night RAW in a move that shocked fans. The company then responded by suspending them indefinitely and stripping them of their titles before eventually releasing them in early July.

"It's kind of up in the air. I mean, they're gone. The last I heard was that there would be attempts to be made to reconcile, especially with Vince gone. So, it's up in the air. I don't think there's anything definite just yet,” Meltzer told the podcast of the situation.

Sasha Banks is a former NXT, RAW, and SmackDown Women’s Champion. She was also a member of the “Four Horsewomen” stable consisting of Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Bayley. The four women were widely considered “the future” of women’s wrestling when they burst onto the main roster scene in 2015. Naomi, meanwhile, is also a former SmackDown Women’s Champion and one of the most athletic Superstars the WWE has ever seen. Her career has come a long way from dancing with Brodus Clay and Cameron to becoming one of the most revered free agents in wrestling.

Sasha Banks is currently scheduled to make her first public appearance since leaving WWE next weekend at the C2E2 Comic Expo in Chicago. While it is still unclear if Banks or Naomi are open to a WWE return, it seems like something that fans would definitely like to see happen. We'll just have to wait and see what happens with them.
