Sareee is joining the new Sukeban Japanese women’s promotion.

Sukeban announced that Sareee has signed a multi-year contract with the promotion. Sareee (fka Sarray in WWE) will make her debut at Sukeban’s second event that is scheduled to take place in December.

According to the press release issued by Sukeban, Sareee has joined the Cherry Bomb Girls stable. She will compete in a four-way match at the December event where she will represent the Cherry Bomb Girls stable.

Sareee will face Countess Saori (representing Dangerous Liaisons), Atomic Banshee (Vandals), and Babyface (Harajuku Stars). The match will be contested under a one fall to a finish rule.

A Sukeban World Championship match between Ichigo Sayaka and Commander Nakajima has also been announced for the event.

Return to the States

This will be Sareee’s first match in the United States since losing to Mandy Rose on the August 2, 2022 episode of WWE NXT.

Sareee made her WWE debut in April 2021. Despite her last match coming in August 2022, she officially confirmed her departure in March 2023.

It was recently reported that Sarray had been in negotiations to return to the United States to perform. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the former Sarray was “deep” in contract negotiations with a U.S.-based promotion, but it was not believed to be with WWE.

Sareee is a former Beyond the Sea Champion in SEAdLINNNG. She also won titles in Pro Wrestling Wave, Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling, and World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana, among other promotions.
