Sarah Silverman has inked a deal with Lemonada Media for a new season of her podcast, The Sarah Silverman Podcast.

The latest podcast will premiere on the banner on Oct. 19, with new episodes available weekly. Silverman’s comedy podcast debuted in 2020 via Kast Media and has the comedian, actress and writer continuing to dish on her personal and professional lives, politics and other headline news.

She also responds to listener voicemails with her signature sharp wit. “When life gives you lemons, make (a deal with) Lemonada. Can’t wait to start my new life with them!” Silverman said in a statement on Wednesday.

“We’re so honored that Sarah and her team are bringing her hit podcast and engaged audience over to the Lemonada community. Her show has been a salve for so many, and we can’t wait to help make it and bring it into the world each week,” Lemonada CEO Jessica Cordova Kramer said in her own statement.

Lemonada was founded in 2019 by Kramer, formerly an executive producer at Crooked Media, and Stephanie Wittels Wachs, an author and theater director. The duo launched their first podcast under Lemonada, Last Day, about the opioid crisis in the U.S., after the two co-founders learned they had both lost their younger brothers to opioid overdoses.

“Sarah was my late brother Harris’ mentor, and the first guest on Lemonada’s first ever podcast episode. This feels like a natural and cosmic fit,” Wittels Wachs, Lemonada’s chief creative officer, adds in another statement.

The Lemonada podcast network is behind shows like Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Blind Plea and Funny Cuz It’s True with Elyse Myers.

Silverman earlier had her own primetime scripted series on Comedy Central, The Sarah Silverman Program, a stand-up special on HBO for which she won an Emmy, and appeared on TV series like Showtime drama Masters of Sex and in the films The Book of Henry and Battle of the Sexes.

Her recent projects include Netflix’s Maestro and the Max special Sarah Silverman: Someone You Love.
