While stopping by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday, Sarah Paulson dished on the time she and longtime friend, Pedro Pascal, couldn’t agree on who Beyoncé blew a kiss to during her Renaissance World Tour.
The actress gushed over the recent release of Beyoncé’s monumental album, Cowboy Carter, and how, like the rest of the world, she “was up right until the album dropped.” The Ocean’s 8 star then recalled the time she and Pascal attended the Los Angeles leg of the Renaissance tour (a moment hilariously enshrined with The Last of Us actor screaming, “I am fucking dying.”)

“Beyoncé was flying overhead as she does, ’cause she’s God incarnate,” said Paulson, referencing the portion of the concert when the singer is suspended in the air above the audience, adding, “She blew a kiss in my direction, and I believe it was to me, and Pedro thinks it was to him.”
Paulson joked, “He’s the most famous man in the world right now, so he believes everything is happening for him,” quipping, “Can I have one thing?”
Elsewhere, Fallon praised Paulson’s role in Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ critically acclaimed play Appropriate, in which she stars alongside Corey Stoll. The late night host read the reviews of the Emmy winner’s performance as Antoinette Lafayette, including a particular one from the New York Times that described Paulson as delivering an “eye-opening, sinus-clearing performance.” In response, Paulson laughed, “Is that a compliment?”
