Alyson Hannigan just got a little extra encouragement to slay her Dancing With the Stars competition.

Just hours ahead of the ABC series’ return for Season 32, Sarah Michelle Gellar offered a few words of support to her onetime Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star.

“Do you write break a leg? Or is that bad luck?!?” Gellar commented on Hannigan’s Instagram post advertising Tuesday’s season premiere. “So just good luck?!? You have the best partner in @sashafarber1.”

Gellar and Hannigan, of course, shared the screen for all of Buffy‘s seven seasons, respectively playing Buffy Summers and Willow Rosenberg. After Hannigan’s Dancing With the Stars casting was announced, she also got kudos from How I Met Your Mother co-star Cobie Smulders and American Pie‘s Jason Biggs, both of whom made good use of the fire emoji while cheering on their former scene partner.

Dancing With the Stars returns tonight at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+, with episodes becoming available the next day on Hulu. Although ABC was reportedly considering postponing Season 32 until after the writers’ strike ended — DWTS employs one WGA writer, thus making the show struck work — the network is proceeding with tonight’s premiere after the WGA and AMPTP reached a tentative deal on Sunday to end the strike.

Veep alum Matt Walsh, who originally stepped back from competing until the writers’ strike concluded, has since confirmed he will participate now that a tentative deal has been reached.
