Sarah Mezzanotte Cast As Jessica Paré’s Younger Self In Amazon’s ‘The Interestings’
EXCLUSIVE: Sarah Mezzanotte has joined Amazon’s drama pilot The Interestings as a series regular, playing the young version of Ash, the role in which Jessica Paré recently was cast. Ash is a successful theater director and philanthropist who’s harboring a secret from her husband Ethan.
Lauren Ambrose is set as the female lead in the ensemble drama from Sony TV’s TriStar Television. Written by Nip/Tuck alums Lyn Greene and Richard Levine and directed by Mike Newell, The Interestings is based on Meg Wolitzer’s novel about a group of friends who meet at an arts camp when they’re 15 in 1974. The series chronicles their relationships throughout the next three decades.
Mezzanotte’s recent TV credits include guest starring on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU and a recurring role on the final season of USA Network’s Royal Pains. She’s repped by Innovative Artists and Michal Zecher @ MZ.MGMT.NY
