Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams may have found the perfect couple’s costume.

The couple got into the Halloween spirit at a Sonic Drive-In restaurant in Duarte, California on Monday, and rather than dressing up as the country's current couple obsession — Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce — the two honored a viral moment from Swift’s first appearance at Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game against Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 24.

During the game, Swift was photographed sitting next to a plate that featured a chicken tender and some sauces. A fan account reposted the image on X (formerly known as Twitter) on the night of the game, with a caption that read: "Taylor Swift was eating a piece of chicken with ketchup and seemingly ranch!" leading to an explosion of memes and commentary on social media.

In a fun tribute to the pop culture moment, Hyland, 32, sported a “seemingly ranch” costume at the restaurant on Monday, while Adams, 39, attended as the "ketchup."

While the couple sampled Sonic's new version of their Halloween-themed dessert — Trick or Treat Blasts — they posed for a series of photos that showed off their fun attire. As well as her white costume that included a printed image of a ranch logo that said “seemingly ranch,” Hyland sported a white wig and a dark green velvet hat.

Adams, meanwhile, wore a red hat in the shape of a ketchup bottle top with a red costume that had a ketchup logo printed on it. The two also wore sneakers that matched the color of their outfits.

"To get in the Halloween spirit, we thought it right to invite the champions of couple’s costumes, Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams, to their local drive-in to kick off the season!" Sonic said in a statement shared with PEOPLE.

The viral "ketchup and seemingly ranch" X post from September has now garnered more than 33 million views and, at the time, launched the meme frenzy that both Hidden Valley Ranch and Heinz jumped in on.

Following the post, Hidden Valley Ranch temporarily changed its name on X to “Seemingly Ranch.” While Heinz developed a new product based on the wild internet moment. The company announced they were releasing 100 limited-edition bottles of a new "Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch" sauce.

Ahead of their fun night out, the couple recently celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary. Hyland and Adams tied the knot in August 2022 at a winery in Santa Ynez, California and both posted heartfelt messages on social media to honor their anniversary.

"One year married to you flew by in a blink of an eye. You’re my HUSBAND. My best friend. My true north," the Modern Family alum wrote alongside a photograph of herself and Adams from their wedding day.

"I love you more than words can say and every day is the best day when I’m with you. Marriage is most fun I’ve ever had because I get to be married to you 💋."

Adams also posted on Instagram, sharing a photograph of himself and Hyland exchanging their vows.

"Happy first anniversary to my perfect wife. I love you more. Plus one. Anything you say," he wrote in the post's caption.

The couple first connected on social media in 2016 and exchanged some flirty tweets, which then led Adams to send Hyland a DM saying he would take her out for tacos.

Following the initial DM, their first date involved Adams cooking some shrimp and skirt steak tacos for his future wife. Hyland recently revealed on The Flaky Biscuit podcast that when Adams treated her to the tacos, he became the "first man" to ever cook for her.

"When we first started dating, it's not like we could go out to restaurants, and it's not like we had a first date at a restaurant. Our first meal together was at my house in Studio City. He came and visited and made us shrimp tacos,” Hyland said.

During the August podcast, Adams added, "It was funny because I lived in Nashville for 12 years, and there were a couple of years when I lived with my sister ... and I remember we did the shrimp tacos and my sister texted me, 'You're not that slick. I know what you're doing. You made your shrimp tacos' ... 'cause I think Sarah had posted something like, 'This is what I'm eating tonight.’”

The couple made it official in 2017 and after almost two years of dating, Adams proposed to Hyland in the summer of 2019. The couple originally planned to wed in August 2020, but delayed the nuptials multiple times due to COVID-19 concerns amid the pandemic.
