Sarah Ferguson Just Responded to Those Princess Eugenie Pregnancy Rumors

Is the next royal baby on its way? Not from this princess. Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson responded to Princess Eugenie pregnancy rumors and denied that her daughter with Prince Andrew is expecting her first child with husband Jack Brooksbank. Fergie responded to the rumors over the weekend at a Massachusetts party for American businessman Ernie Boch Jr.

In a video posted by journalist Kelly Lynch of the website, DailyBreak, Ferguson can be seen talking about her youngest daughter and her new husband, Brooksbank, who is a brand manager for Casamigos, a tequila company started by George Clooney and Rande Gerber. “Jack sells tequila for Casamigos, which we love,” Ferguson joked. “It makes me even more of a yummy mummy because I just drink the tequila when I go and sell it.”

The Duchess of York then shifted her speech to rumors about Princess Eugenie and how she’s pregnant with the next royal baby. “What else can I tell you? No, she’s not pregnant!” Fergie said, denying that the princess and Brooksbank are expecting their first child. “I’m just going through what the journalists say and they’re all here, so I just thought I’d fill it in.”

Brooksbank and Eugenie married in October 2018 in a royal wedding attended by celebrities like Demi Moore, Kate Moss, James Blunt and Naomi Campbell. In June 2019, royal biographer Ingrid Seward told People that the couple plan to have kids “as soon as they can” — so it sounds like we don’t have to wait too long until Archie, Louis, Charlotte and George receive another royal cousin.

 

Whether Eugenie and Brooksbank have a baby or not is their business. If and when the time happens, we’re sure Kensington Palace will let us know. Until then, it’s best to take Ferguson’s word and stop speculating about Eugenie and Brooksbank’s baby plans. They’ve been married less than a year! Let’s let them enjoy their newlywed status first.
