Sara Bareilles and her fiancé Joe Tippett couldn’t be more in love after eight years together.

On Thursday, the “Love Song” artist, 43, and actor/singer, 41, celebrated their anniversary. To celebrate, the Broadway star shared a sweet tribute to her beau on Instagram.

“8 years. And I want 100 more,” Bareilles wrote in the caption of the carousel featuring a romantic photo of the couple locking eyes and a candid one of them goofing off on Zoom.

“You are infinite and you fascinate me,” the Grammy winner wrote to the Mare of Easttown star. “From your very particular feelings about wet sponges or how the silverware gets loaded in a dishwasher, to your playful otter spirit, sense of adventure and the uncanny ability to find music and art in absolutely everything… you are my favorite and most unpredictable person.”

She continued, “You make me laugh harder than anyone and I am more myself because you found me. Well, you and Lexapro. But that was kinda because of you too.”

“I am the luckiest to love you and I intend to keep getting better at it,” the singer-songwriter added before concluding the post with a tongue-out emoji and series of red hearts. “Happy ‘versary babe. PUBLIC DECLARATION OF LOVE MEANS ITS REAL!”

In the comment section, a handful of famous friends chimed in to send the couple well wishes. “Love u. So happy to see this ❤️,” wrote Natasha Bedingfield, while Vanessa Carlton joked, “Second pic is a framer.”

John Legend also wished them a happy anniversary, and Colbie Caillat dropped a heart-eyes emoji.

Bareilles met the stage-and-screen actor in 2015 while both working on the Broadway show Waitress during its out-of-town tryout at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She famously wrote the music for the production while Tippett played Earl, the moody husband of the story's protagonist Jenna.

The pair confirmed their romance in 2017 and announced their engagement after five years of dating in January 2023.

The “Brave” singer shared they plan to tie the knot by posting a photo of herself looking into her fiancé’s eyes and showing off her simple, gold band ring with the shape of a leaf. In the caption she wrote, "Yes to marrying this man. It's an easy, earned, relaxed YES.”

Tippett opened up to PEOPLE in June about proposing to the Tony nominee. He said, “We had been talking about it for quite some time, so it wasn't a surprise or anything. But we were in Mexico City, and she was having a bad day."

He continued, “We kind of connected and got things back on track. We had been looking for the perfect ring and couldn't find it. And I was like, 'I just want to do it!' So we found this cheap little ring in a market that we both love, and we were like, 'That's the thing for now!'”
