Old Saint Nick arrived with his trusty helpers to kickstart the show's 12 Days of Holiday season with an extra cozy gift.

Christmas came early to The View on Thursday when Santa Claus decided to stop by with an extra special gift for the talk show’s audience.

Whoopi Goldberg, sporting an adorable elf hat headband, welcomed viewers back after the commercial break before the ringing sound of sleigh bells caught her attention. “What is that sound?” she asked. “It must mean it’s the beginning of our 12 Days of Holiday season. Look who’s here, it’s Santa and his elves… Santa people!”

Co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin then excitedly turned around in their chairs to wave hello to Old Saint Nick, who was ushered onto the show’s extra festive set in a holly-covered sleigh with a little help from his Santa people.

Goldberg was equally excited for the toymaker’s arrival and made sure to hype him up. “Hi Santa,” she said, “You look so good!”

“Well hello,” Santa replied. “This is my busy season, but there’s no better way to kick off the holidays than with the ladies of The View.”

Santa’s helpers must’ve been on this year’s nice list, because Sara Haines revealed that they were all wearing new, holiday-inspired matching pajamas from Old Navy called Jingle Jammies. Goldberg added, “Members of our audience will get their chance to purchase Jingle Jammies — I knew y’all was gonna do that! — because you’re all going home with a $300 gift card to Old Navy!”

As the audience burst into excitement, Goldberg began cheering alongside them and dancing in her chair. She concluded the episode by declaring, “Have a great day everyone and take a little time to enjoy the view and it's holiday season! Wooooo!”
