‘Santa Clarita Diet’: What Should Happen Next?
Spoiler alert, if you haven’t finished Season 1 of Santa Clarita Diet!
The Netflix comedy starring Drew Barrymore as suburban wife Sheila, who’s suddenly forced to live on meals of freshly killed humans, and Timothy Olyphant as Joel, her devoted husband, ends on a whopper of a cliffhanger. After finally getting a lead on how to at least halt Sheila’s physical and mental deterioration, Joel is arrested while the duo attempts to procure the bile of a (drunk) native-born, pure Serbian needed for the remedy. Cut to him opening up about the recent changes in his married life inside what looks to be a mental institution, and Sheila, who’s entered a slightly more feral stage of being undead, voluntarily sitting chained up in her basement.

Where would the stars and creator Victor Fresco like to see Season 2 go if the dark comedy scores a renewal? “Uh … Paris,” Olyphant jokes in the video above.
“And Joel has a mustache,” Fresco says.
