Sandra Bullock’s Last Moment With Late Partner Bryan Randall Is Making Us All Reach for Tissues

When Sandra Bullock‘s longtime partner Bryan Randall passed away in August of last year due to ALS, our hearts went out to the actress. After all, despite the two keeping their relationship private over the years, Bullock’s rare comments and resurfaced videos of them proved that their love, and their family, were undeniably strong.
And, since Randall’s passing, sources including Bullock’s sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, have sparsely updated her fans on how they’re healing and keeping Randall’s legacy alive.

On Dec. 30, which would have been Randall’s 58th birthday, Bullock-Prado posted another update, this time posting a video of a river in Wyoming where the Oscar winner scattered her late partner’s ashes. “Happy birthday, Bry,” Bullock-Prado posted in the Instagram caption. “Sandy brought you to the river, just as she promised.”
“Lots of love to all of you ❤️,” wrote one commenter. “May he rest in peace.” “What a beautiful, peaceful setting….” echoed another fan. “Sending love to Sandy and her family.”
Prior to Bullock’s final goodbye to Randall in Wyoming, sources had shed light on how the actress was grieving the devastating loss. “She’s struggling to stay strong, and picking up the pieces for her children,” a source told In Touch Weekly. As a reminder, Bullock and Randall shared three kids including Bullock’s adopted kids Louis, 13, and daughter Laila, 11, while Randall had an older daughter from a previous relationship.
“She’s been so busy worrying about everyone else that she’s not quite in self-care mode yet, and her heart is shattered,” the source added. “There have been a lot of private tears, but she’s trying to do what he always told her to do: Breathe and take it one day at a time.”
Most of all, it seems like Bullock is enjoying family time now more than ever. “She appreciates every single moment she has with her kids and knows that she has to move forward and live her own life to the fullest for their sake,” the source added. “That’s what Bryan would have wanted for all of them.” Our hearts go out to the Bullock-Randall family.
