San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy’s fiancée Jenna Brandt romance is front and center at this year’s Super Bowl after this adorable pre-game moment.
The couple shared a kiss on the field before the 49ers took on the Kansas City Chiefs. Purdy is the starting quarterback in the biggest game of the season so it was adorable to see Brandt by his side to calm his nerves before the big game. See their PDA moment below!

Who is Brock Purdy’s fiancée, Jenna Brandt?
Brandt is Purdy’s girlfriend of six years and fiancée since July, 2023. The two have been together since college, where they both met as student athletes.
Brandt has cruised on the soon-to-be NFL wife train for quite some time, showing her support for Purdy, who was deemed “Mr. Irrelevant” for being the last pick in the 2022 NFL draft. His successful football career has all but turned the title on its head and Brandt has been along for the ride! Here’s what we know about the Super Bowl-bound, Bay Area quarterback’s fiancée.
She’s a Midwest Girl from Iowa
Born in Iowa on October 26, 1999, Brandt is a proud Midwesterner. Raised by her parents, Kevin and Amy Brandt, Brandt was brought up alongside three siblings Kaylyn, Isaiah, and Morgan.
Brandt went to high school at Sumner-Fredericksburg High School, where her volleyball career began. She played for all four years and was a two-time team captain. Her older sister, Kaylyn, was a noted volleyball setter at University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC) from 2013-16, earning the WAC Setter of the Year award.
Like Kaylyn, Brandt also was a star setter for her college volleyball team. She committed to Iowa State University (ISU) during her senior year of high school in 2018 — and that’s not all she committed to while at ISU.
Jenna and Brock Met at Iowa State University in 2018
Purdy and Brandt first met at Iowa State University, where they were both freshmen in 2018. While pursuing their academic goals, they also excelled as student athletes. Purdy played football (obviously) while Brandt played volleyball as she studied Kinesiology.
The couple haven’t revealed exactly how they met and though they appeared sporadically on each other’s social media pages during college, they didn’t make it Instagram official until 2022 when Brandt shared a sweet snap of Purdy in her home town. “My roots and my boy,” she captioned the post.
Brandt ultimately transferred to the University of Northern Iowa to finish up her education. Purdy stayed at Iowa State to play football up until he was the last pick of the 2022 NFL draft.
They Went From College Sweethearts To Engaged Couple in 2023
In July 2023, the Brock popped the question to Jenna while the two were in Saint Cloud, Florida. “My Jenna girl forever,” he captioned a sweet series of snaps of the proposal on Instagram at the time. “I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!”
Brandt Is Always Cheering for Purdy
Despite the pressures of being a starting quarterback in the 2024 Super Bowl, Purdy has plenty of support from Brandt. In January 2023, she watch Purdy, with his family, during the 49ers divisional-round victory over the Dallas Cowboys. After watching Purdy and the 49ers land their place in the Super Bowl, Brandt shared adorable photos and videos of her rushing on to the field to hug her fiancé after the game. She captioned the post: “The BEST feeling. God is good – all the time.”
She’s A Scorpio
Talk about intensity! Jenna born October 26, is a Scorpio, a Water sign of the zodiac known for its intensity, passion, and a bit of vindictiveness, should the mood strike. Brock’s birthday is December 27, which makes him a Capricorn, an Earth sign known for its ambition and practicality.
While it might not seem like the two are compatible based on the stars, it seems that there differences keep each other in balance. According to Astrotalk, both signs are “incredibly goal-oriented” and are willing to support each other’s individual passions. Both signs value trust and loyalty, which is another good sign!
