Samuel L. Jackson and Wife LaTanya Richardson Enjoy Date Night at “Pulp Fiction” Anniversary Event

Samuel L. Jackson and his wife LaTanya Richardson are enjoying a date night.

The couple attended Pulp Fiction’s 30th anniversary red carpet and panel event at TCL Chinese Theatre, Hollywood on April 18.

1994's Pulp Fiction saw Jackson play the role of Jules Winnfield alongside director Quentin Tarantino, John Travolta, Uma Thurman and Bruce Willis.

Jackson, 75, wore a long white shirt with a patterned trim over a matching top at the anniversary event, while his wife sported a black dress and sandals.

The pair appeared to be in great spirits as Jackson wrapped an arm around Richardson as they posed for cameras.

Richardson and Jackson have been married since 1980 and share Emmy-winning reality TV producer daughter Zoe, 42.

The couple met as undergraduates and began dating in 1970,  performing alongside each other as part of Morehouse Spelman Players.

"In the beginning, we always said the most revolutionary thing that Black people could do was stay together, raise their children with the nucleus of having a father and a mother, since everybody likes to pretend that that's not the dynamic of the African American family,” Richardson previously told PEOPLE. “That it's just children out here being raised by women, which we know is false."

“In order to change that narrative, we made a decision to say, 'We are going to stay together no matter what. We'll figure it out,' " she continued.

Jackson and Richardson celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary in August 2023.

"It’s 53 really. She test drove me for 10!! I passed," the Coach Carter star wrote on his Instagram Story at the time. "I think we can make 43 more!!! Love everlasting!!!!!!”
