Samuel L Jackson Is Not Pleased With Trump’s Plan to Arm Teachers – to Put It Mildly
The man who famously played gun-wielding hitman Jules in 1994’s “Pulp Fiction” is now pointing his barrel down at President Donald Trump.
Samuel L. Jackson is not a fan of Trump’s proposal to arm teachers with guns, which comes in the wake of last week’s Florida high school shooting that left 17 dead.
“Can someone that’s been in a Gunfight tell that Muthaf—a that’s Never been in a Gunfight, the flaws of his Arm The Teachers plan??!!” wrote Jackson in a Friday afternoon tweet.

Many of the actor’s followers cheered him on with responses of approval, some evoking his famed tough-guy role:

People tend to freeze the first time they get shot at. Adrenaline rush usually makes people miss or shoot high. Increase chance of collateral damage. Hell they prolly wont even remember to flip the safety off

But there were a few detractors who expressed that Trump’s plan to give teachers guns seems sound:
I’ve been in many gun fights. If there was a gunman at my kids school I would pray that someone like me was standing between that gunman and my kids.

MSNBC correspondent Joy Reid struck a balance in her response, thanking Jackson, but also pointing out that the gunfights he’s portrayed in his movies are also not real:
Thank you. Movies are not real life.

Since you’ve never been in one… HOW, do you know there are any?
