Samsonite Debuts Partnership With USA Gymnastics, Ahead of Summer Olympic Games

Samsonite has been announced as the “official luggage partner” of USA Gymnastics (USAG), ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics. The collaboration will see the luggage brand supply USAG athletes with the brand’s dynamic Proxis suitcases, as the gymnasts travel across the United States for training camps, and abroad for their competitive events this year — none bigger than the Paris Olympics, of course.
The Proxis suitcase collection comes in four different sizes: a carry-on size, as well as a medium, large and extra-large spinner. The suitcases are also available in four different colors: Black, Petrol Blue, Honey Gold, and Silver.
These suitcases are an avid traveler’s dream, boasting sleek and shiny good looks to go with their secure siding and TSA-friendly locks. They also feature a Roxkin outer shell — Samsonite’s proprietary protective material that is shock-absorbent and resistant to damage, while still being lightweight. The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in Paris from July 26 to Aug. 11, with gymnastics events taking place from July 27 to Aug. 5. The U.S. Women’s National Team has seen a ton of success at past Olympics, and they are once again favored for gold this year. The Samsonite partnership announcement highlights that “the USA Gymnastics women’s team has won gold or silver in the Olympic Team event and gold in the All-Around at every Games since 2004.” This year’s team will aim to see the same success, with several former Olympic medal holders ready to compete, including Simone Biles, Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles.
