Membership clubs like Sam's Club are known for huge savings and a variety of items available in bulk.
To access all of the savings, customers typically need to become members, which costs $45 a year for Club level, and $100 a year for Plus.
Luckily, there are a few ways to shop at Sam's Club without purchasing a membership.
1. Enroll in a 90 day free trial as long as you haven't had an active membership in the past six months.

2. Ask another member of your household to add you to their account, as long as you have the same legal address.

3. Shop at Sam's Club's online store, although you'll pay 10% more than members.

4. Order grocery delivery through Instacart, although you'll pay higher prices than in-store, plus a delivery fee and tip.

5. Buy alcohol, as alcohol purchases legally cannot be limited to members in some states.
6. Use the pharmacy. Similar laws about membership apply to prescriptions, meaning they must be open to anyone.
7. Get eye and ear exams at the optical and hearing centers, though only members can buy glasses and hearing aids.
8. Eat at the food court, which has deals like a $1.50 hot dog and soda combo, churros, and pizza.
