Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ram Charan in Buchi Babu Sana’s RC 16, Claim Reports

After taking the world by storm with his impeccable acting skills in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Ram Charan is now focusing on his upcoming film, Game Changer. The actor has a few movies lined up, including Buchi Babu Sana’s RC 16. The movie would mark the 16th film of his career. As it has been over a year since the film was announced, fans are eagerly waiting for an update. However, the latest report suggests that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is the new addition to the film’s cast.

Ram Charan announced his movie with Buchi Babu Sana back in 2022. Moreover, the actor mentioned how he is excited to work with the director and his team. Buchi Babu Sana is known for his movie Uppena. An earlier report mentioned that the director is making the film on a hefty budget and has begun to rope in big names.

Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film. Allegedly, they were the ones who brought Ram Charan and the director together for the movie.

RC16 cast: Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ram Charan in Buchi Babu Sana’s movie?

In the past, rumors about several other actresses being cast in RC 16 made rounds. Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, Sai Pallavi, and others were the names that came up. However, as per a report by Times of India, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is the latest one who has been allegedly roped in for the movie. If the reports are to be believed, RC16 would mark Samantha and Ram Charan’s second outing opposite each other. They earlier starred together in the 2018 film Rangasthalam.

On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen sharing the screen space with Vijay Deverakonda in Kushi. The movie received mixed reactions and minted a decent amount at the box office. The actress will be next seen in Raj and DK’s Citadel, which is a spin-off of Priyanka Chopra’s American series.
