The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model shared a photo of her friends gathered around while she breastfed baby George, and she opened up about the special time.
"Sharing the most natural moment in life with the best people in the world! When I started breastfeeding I was shy and embarrassed to do it in front of anyone. As time went on and I shared these moments with close friends and family I realized how beautiful and special these moments are! How incredible is the human body that you can produce food for the child that you just carried and created!"
She also dropped some wisdom by telling fans, "Women have always had power men do not have and men have a different kind of power women don’t have and that’s the beauty of nature, we should not be in competition with each other only ourselves."
28-year-old Hoopes gave birth to George back in August, and has been loving becoming a first time mom.
She recently shared another photo of herself breastfeeding and stressed how she is trying to "normalize" the process.
"One of my favorite things to do is spend that one on one time with my baby during feeding time. Breastfeeding has been very natural and easy for me but I know it’s not something everyone has an easy time with."
Hoopes and her fiancée, Salvatore Palella, also celebrated having their baby blessed by Pope Francis during a trip to the Vatican.
"Still speechless and in awe of this time in my life! My son was blessed by @franciscus today & it was an experience I cannot even put into words & its a moment in my life I will never ever forget!"
