Sam Hunt and Wife Hannah Lee Fowler's Second Baby's Name and Sex Revealed (Exclusive)

The couple welcomed their second baby together in October

Sam Hunt is officially a boy dad.

On Friday, a rep for Hunt confirmed to PEOPLE exclusively that he and wife Hannah Lee Fowler welcomed a baby boy named Lowry Lee on Tuesday, Oct. 24. Their second child's names are derived from his parents' — Lowry is Hunt's middle name and Lee is Fowler's.

Lowry joins big sister Lucy Louise, 18 months.

Last week, the country star announced the arrival of their second baby with a photo of his newly minted family of four on Instagram, simply captioning the post, "Thank You Lord."

In the spring, a rep for the couple confirmed to PEOPLE that the pair were expecting their second baby together after the musician announced the exciting news at his Las Vegas concert at Resorts World Theatre.

Hunt previously announced that he and his wife had welcomed their first baby together during his set at the Stars for Second Harvest charity concert in Nashville in 2022.

"[Fatherhood] has given me such a sense of purpose — at home and out on the road. A new appreciation for life in general," he said on Audacy's Katie & Company podcast in September 2022. "I think I leveled up overnight, evolved 10 or 20 years overnight."

The couple's news about expecting their second baby came after a judge signed off on Fowler's request to call off her divorce from Hunt, which she had initially filed for in February 2022.

Fowler withdrew her initial complaints hours later and re-filed the same day in a different county. A judge approved the request in April 2022, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE at the time.

"They are doing their best every day," a source told PEOPLE previously of the pair, who quietly married in April 2017 after years of dating on and off.

"Sam and his wife are continually looking forward to the next chapter. He's just thinking about his family and what's to come," they added.
