Sam Asghari Asks Fans To Help Him Choose His ‘Paparazzi Disguise’ Amid Britney Spears Divorce

Actor Sam Asghari is trying to find a "disguise" to hide from the paparazzi amid his divorce from Britney Spears.

On Wednesday, August 16, the 29-year-old actor filed for divorce from the Princess of Pop, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split in court documents obtained by The Blast. He listed July 28, 2023, as the date of separation, hinting that the split has been coming for a while.

Although his name has been splashed across headlines over the past several days, it seems that the actor is looking to keep a low profile amid the split.

On Saturday afternoon, the "Special Ops: Lioness" actor took to his Instagram Stories to share three photos side by side. The first photo featured him wearing a gray wig, a long mustache, and glasses. The second photo featured him wearing a brown curly wig and the aviator sunglasses that he has been sporting in many of his Instagram photos. In the third photo, he is not wearing any glasses, but he is hiding his black hair under another brown wig.

"Help me choose [a] paparazzi disguise," he wrote over the photo. This is the first time that the actor has posted on social media since Thursday afternoon when he released a short statement confirming the divorce.

Sam Says He Wishes Britney 'The Best' In First Statement Amid Divorce

On Thursday afternoon, the actor took to his Instagram Stories to leave a brief statement regarding the divorce. “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” he wrote.

“We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. Sh*t happens,” he continued. “Asking for privacy seems [ridiculous] so I will just ask for everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.”

It's Unclear If Sam Asghari Is Still Taking A Break From Social Media

On July 31, the 29-year-old actor revealed that he was taking a break from social media after his mother had a "major accident" that led her to take a trip to the emergency room.

“I’m so grateful for the love and support you guys had during Mama Asghari’s recovery after the accident,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “Sending a huge thank you to the amazing medical staff at Cedars-Sinai ER. Moments like these remind us of life’s preciousness. Taking a social media break to prioritize what truly matters. See you very soon.”

Britney Spears Addressed Her Divorce For The First Time On Friday Night

On Friday night, the "Oops!...I Did It Again" singer took to Instagram to address her divorce from Sam Asghari for the first time. On Wednesday night, the day he filed for divorce, Britney did post on Instagram to announce that she planned on buying two horses, but did not discuss the split.

However, on Friday night, she finally broke her silence and confessed that she was "a little shocked" by the divorce, but admitted that she was in "pain" for a while.

“As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together … 6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business !!! But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!!” she wrote. “In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!!”

“I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that !!!” she continued. “I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but [for] some reason I’ve always had to hide my weaknesses !!! If I wasn’t my dad’s strong soldier, I would be sent away to places to get fixed by doctors !!!”

“But that’s when I needed family the most !!! You’re supposed to be loved unconditionally … not under conditions !!!!” she added. “So I will be as strong as I can and do my best !!! And I’m actually doing pretty d*mn good !!! Anyways have a good day and don’t forget to smile !!!”
