Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi are gearing up for the summer of their lives in the official teaser trailer for Emerald Fennell’s sophomore feature “Saltburn.”

Set in the mid-2000s, the twisted drama follows Oxford University student Oliver Quick (Keoghan), who finds himself intrigued by the world of his aristocratic peer, Felix Catton (Elordi). Felix then invites Oliver to Saltburn, his family’s luxury estate, where they spend “a summer never to be forgotten” together.

In addition to Keoghan and Elordi, the “Saltburn” cast includes Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Alison Oliver, Ewan Mitchell, Archie Madekwe, Lolly Adefioe, Reece Shearsmith, Paul Rhys and Carey Mulligan, who starred in Fennell’s feature directorial debut “Promising Young Woman.”

“Saltburn” is set to open the 67th BFI London Film Festival on Oct. 4 at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London.

“I’m honored that our film is able to open this year’s BFI London Film Festival,” said Fennell. “It is a festival that inspired me so much growing up, one that I followed excitedly from my bedroom on the other side of London. It feels extra-special that ‘Saltburn,’ this very British tale of excess, is able to make its international debut at the wonderful BFI.”

“Promising Young Woman” landed Fennell a best original screenplay Oscar, as well as nods in best director and best picture. Mulligan also earned her second Oscar nomination for her performance as Cassandra in the provocative thriller.

Amazon Studios and MGM will release “Saltburn” in select theaters on Nov. 24 before expanding wide on Dec. 1. The film comes from MRC Film and Margot Robbie’s LuckyChap Entertainment, with director-writer Fennell, Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley and Robbie serving as producers.
