Salma Hayek Reminisces About Her Tiny Waistline

Salma Hayek looks damn good these days, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t reminisce about days past.

The Grown Ups 2 actress, 49, posted a throwback bikini snap on Thursday. The Mexican beauty looks white hot in the low-cut top and sarong, but she knows that her itty bitty waistline isn’t everything.

“This was my waist before pregnancy,” wrote Hayek, who has an 8-year-old daughter, Valentina, with her billionaire businessman husband François-Henri Pinault. “Now it’s not the same but my life is so much better."

Hayek didn’t think she was going to become a mother. "I had my child so late in life,” she told People in August. “I thought I wasn’t going to be able to and it was such an important thing to me.”

And while Hayek took a hiatus from acting after her makeup lovin’ daughter was born, she’s back at it and knows that being a working mother is inspirational for her daughter.

“It’s important that your kids understand that they are the most important thing, but it’s not all about them,” she said. “You set an example that you are also your own person and you have to continue to grow in the field that you are working.”
