Wisconsin represented at another unveiling of awards nominees this week: the 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Among the SAG Awards nominations announced Wednesday morning, Rachel Brosnahan — who was born in Milwaukee and grew up in the Chicago area — was nominated for best female actor in a comedy series for "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel." It's her third SAG Award nomination for playing the title character on the Prime Video series; she won in 2019, and received a second SAG award in 2020 when "Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" took home the trophy for best ensemble cast for a TV comedy (the show was not nominated in that category this year).

Brosnahan's competition in the category this year includes "Mrs. Maisel" co-star Alex Borstein. She also was nominated in the same category at this year's Golden Globes; she lost to "The Bear's" Ayo Edebiri.

In the movies categories, Appleton native Willem Dafoe was nominated for best supporting actor for "Poor Things." The nomination — his fourth at the SAG Awards overall — follows his nomination in the same category at this year's Golden Globes, where he and "Poor Things" co-star (and Kenosha native) Mark Ruffalo both lost to Robert Downey Jr., who took home the award for his performance in "Oppenheimer."

Willem Dafoe, who received a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame Monday, was nominated for SAG Award for best supporting actor for "Poor Things."

Dafoe has had a busy week: On Monday, he received a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.

"Barbie" and "Oppenheimer" led the movie categories with four nominations, while "Succession" led the TV realm with five.

Nominees for best ensemble cast — the SAG Awards' equivalent of best picture — were "American Fiction," "Barbie," "The Color Purple," "Killers of the Flower Moon" and "Oppenheimer." As Variety reported Wednesday, since the SAG Awards began in 1995, only four movies have won an Oscar for best picture without being nominated for SAG's best ensemble cast award.

The 30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will stream live on Netflix on Feb. 24.
