She’s working late because she’s an office siren. Sabrina Carpenter put a bold and chic twist on the classic button-up shirt, and it fits TikTok’s office siren trend perfectly.

Set to appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend, Carpenter is currently doing promotions. Yesterday, May 16, she filmed commercials alongside the episode’s host Jake Gyllenhaal and cast member Jake Bowen.

Carpenter sported a classic preppy uniform-inspired outfit from Thom Browne. ln true Sabrina Carpenter fashion, she opted for a bright pink look rather than the brand’s popular grey hues. She wore a pleated mini skirt and a cropped button-up top, both in a soft peachy shade. The shirt was a sheer fabric worn only with a white bra underneath, giving the look a bold and edgy feel. And if you look closely, it seems Carpenter added another extra element to the 'fit. It seems there’s a lipstick mark on the collar of the shirt as well. It’s all in the details!

As for glam, Carpenter stuck to her signature look. She wore her typical luminous bronzed makeup, which resembles the golden hour sun shining on the face. Her typical blow-out was tied back with her curtain bangs slightly parted to frame her face.

All she’s missing is a pair of bayonetta glasses, but still, the look totally screams office siren. This cleverly-named TikTok trend is inspired by workwear but gives it an edgy twist. It may not exactly be practical for an actual work setting, but it’s a fun way to experiment with fashion and beauty. And now that we have Carpenter to look to for inspiration, we don’t mind if we do!

Carpenter has been on a roll lately. The singer recently celebrated her birthday in a thrifted dress inspired by one of the original office sirens, Andy Sachs from the film How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Just days before that, she attended the Met Gala 2024 with her boyfriend Barry Keoghan. Now, she’s set for SNL, and we can’t wait to see what she wears to take the stage.
