Sabrina Carpenter Got a Leonardo DiCaprio Cake for Her 25th Birthday

You only turn 25 once, and Sabrina Carpenter made sure to make the most of the occasion with her choice of cake, which left even her boyfriend Barry Keoghan speechless.

ICYMI: Sabrina Carpenter turned 25 on May 11, and she threw a star-studded party to celebrate. As documented on her Instagram, Carpenter rang in her birthday in NYC (lest we forget she was already there to attend the Met Gala 2024) in a stunning yellow slip mini dress with a matching diamond necklace.

Yellow was the color of the night, so, of course, her cake, which you can see on slide two of the post below, also featured some edible yellow roses and a meme of Leonardo Dicaprio that fit both the aesthetic and the theme of the birthday. Smack in the middle of Carpernter's birthday cake was a picture of the infamous Leonardo DiCaprio “Nooo don't turn 25 your so sexy aha” meme.

In her own carousel, Carpenter poses happily with the cake while Keoghan watches from the side, but thanks to a video shared by Red, White & Royal Blue star Taylor Zakhar Perez, we got to see not only Keoghan's but also Carpenter's candid reaction to the cake and it looks like she was not the mastermind behind it all after all.

A few days after Carpenter's birthday celebrations, Zakhar Perez took to his Instagram stories to share what appears to be the moment the singer was greeted with the surprise cake. Though the audio was muted, Carpenter appears to be mouthing, “Who did that?” before turning to Zakhar Perez and saying, “You did that?” Behind her, you can see Keoghan covering his face so as to hide his laughter. Hey, we get it.

Though the Leo cake might have stolen the show, it looks like Carpenter also had another cake to ring in 25, which referenced her hit song “Espresso.”
