Lionsgate Names Bobby Cohen, Gillian Bohrer Co-Presidents of Production

Lionsgate has tapped Bobby Cohen and Gillian Bohrer to serve as its new co-presidents of production.

They will step into the role vacated by Michael Paseornek, who has been upped to president of production of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group. Paseornek will oversee in his new capacity production at each one of the studio’s labels.

Cohen is the producer of “Now You See Me,” “Revolutionary Road” and “People Like Us.” Bohrer came to Lionsgate when the studio acquired Summit Entertainment in 2012. She most recently served as the studio’s executive vice president of production and development.

Lionsgate is readying for the end of its lucrative “Hunger Games” franchise, which will wrap up this November with the release of “Mockingjay — Part 2.” The studio’s upcoming projects include the Gerard Butler action film “Gods of Egypt,” the Mark Wahlberg drama “Deepwater Horizon” and a third installment in the “Divergent” series.

Bohrer and Paseornek will report to Motion Picture Group co-president Erik Feig.
