Lifetime just released cast photos for The Unauthorized Full House Story, and it looks exactly how you'd expect -- like a team of imposters of the family you grew up to know and love.
The movie is part of Lifetime's "Unauthorized" series of films, and bills itself as a telling of what really went on behind the scenes of the hit show. The cast does not appear to be happy with the project.
Dave Coulier, who played Uncle Joey in the series' original run -- seemed displeased, tweeting, "This is hysterical!" while adding "#CutItOut."
The cast includes, among others, Garrett Brawith as Bob Saget, Justin Mader as Dave Coulier, Days of Our Lives' Justin Gaston (you may also know him as Miley Cyrus’ ex from 2009) as John Stamos, and Stephanie Bennett as Lori Loughlin.
Lifetime said of the movie:
"From its start as an unassuming family comedy in 1987 to its eventual wildly popular 192-episode run, the film centers on the rise of the cast of one of America’s most beloved family sitcoms and the pressures they faced in balancing their television personas with their real lives."
This is not to be confused with Fuller House, the Full House revival that's headed to Netflix in 2016 -- which won't feature the Olsen twins, but does have much of the regular cast returning, including Jon Stamos and Bob Saget!
So whichever you prefer, there seems to be a new Full House project.....
