summer 1985 in New Jersey, the coming-of-age series centers on 20-year-old David Myers (Craig Roberts), who takes a job as an assistant tennis pro at the predominantly Jewish Red Oaks country club in New Jersey and tries to figure out what kind of life he wants to lead. Written by Gregory Jacobs and Joe Gangemi, it also stars Jennifer Grey, Richard King, Paul Reiser, Gage Golightly, Ennis Esmer, Oliver Cooper, Alexandra Socha and Josh Meyers.

Heckerling also directed features including Clueless, European Vacation and the first two Look Who’s Talking pics. More recently she has been working in TV, helming episodes of series including Rake, Suburgatory, The Carrie Diaries and Gossip Girl. She is repped by Paradigm, Mosaic and Bloom Hergott.
