Ryman renovations include new VIP lounge, expanded gift shop
A night at the Ryman Auditorium can now include a VIP experience.
Earlier this month, Ryman leadership opened the Ford VIP Lounge, a high-end hang-out located inside the first-floor the space that formerly housed the venue gift shop. Decorated in Ryman memobeila, the lounge includes private bathrooms, snacks, cocktails and beer, a collectable Hatch Print Show poster and a skip-the-line entrance to the venue. VIP upgrades to Ryman concerts cost $100, per a news release.
"We are always looking for new ways to elevate the guest experience at the Ryman," Gary Levy, general manager of Ryman Auditorium, said in a news release. The statement added, "...we are thrilled the new Ford Lounge will provide such a unique experience for fans while visiting the Ryman.”
Ryman leadership unveiled the $1.3 million project ahead of Marty Stuart's Late Night Jam in early June. The price tag also includes relocating the Ryman gift shop to inside the former home of now-defunct venue restaurant Café Lula. The 2,000-square-foot space can be accessed from the Ryman concourse on 4th Avenue North.
Upcoming concerts at the Ryman include bluegrass picker Sierra Hull (Thursday), piano-playing singer-songwriter Ben Folds (June 27), rapper Killer Mike (July 14) and pop star Ed Sheeran (July 21). More information at ryman.com.
