Ryan Reynolds is proving just how invested he is in his British football club, Wrexham AFC.

In the second 2 premiere for his docuseries Welcome to Wrexham, the actor, 46, and his co-chairman Rob McElhenney, 46, announce they need £20 million to expand their football stadium.

As it became obvious that the two would need to raise more money, McElhenney noted that the lack of finances was causing an issue for the club's plans. "I don't have £20 million laying around," the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator shared.

"I don't know if Ryan does, but I don't think so. He might say he does but I would talk to Blake [Lively], because I would bet you he f------ doesn't."

As their financial situation began to sink in, Reynolds questioned what the two could do to help see the project through, joking, "I'll sell one of my children! I have four, I mean I don't even know their names!"

Reynolds shares his four kids — Betty, 3, Inez, 6, James, 8, and another child whose name has not yet been revealed — with wife Blake Lively.

Although Lively and Reynolds prefer to keep their kids out of the spotlight and off of social media, they tend to open up about their family life in interviews.

During a discussion at the 2022 Cannes Film FestivalReynolds joked about his "wild" daughters, saying, "I'm a parent of three girls. They're wild. I think they have rabies sometimes."

Reynolds has repeatedly stated that he "loves being a girl dad." During an interview for Accesshe said, "I have three daughters, which I never in a million years would imagine. I come from all boys. I have three older brothers. So for me to have three daughters has been such a ride and I love every second of it."

While both Reynolds and Lively are actors, the Deadpool star won't let their kids get into the industry — at least not until they're older. "Putting a kid in a business like this, it's generally not about the kid," Reynolds told PEOPLE at the American Cinematheque Awards in November 2022. "It's usually about the parents."

"When they're older, they can do whatever the hell they want," he added. "I'm excited for that. Our job is to foster as much interest in as many different things as possible at this point."
