Ryan Reynolds Hugs Oldest James, 8, in Sweet Father-Daughter Moment as Wrexham Scores in Tense Match

Ryan Reynolds shared a thrilling moment with his oldest.

In the latest episode of season 2 of his docuseries Welcome to Wrexham, the actor and Wrexham AFC co-chairman, 46, cheered on the team as they faced off against Sheffield United in the FA Cup's fourth round.

After scoring a thrilling goal, Reynolds begins to scream in disbelief. Oldest daughter James, 8, whose face is blurred in scenes from the game where she appears, jumps into his arms as he wraps her in a hug in a tender moment.

Reynolds and wife Blake Lively are also parents to three other kids — an infant born earlier this year, whose name has yet to be shared and daughters Betty, 3, and Inez, 6.

In the second 2 premiere, Reynolds joked about coming up with funds of £20 million to expand their football stadium.

As it became obvious that the two would need to raise more money, his co-chairman Rob McElhenney noted that the lack of finances was causing an issue for the club's plans. "I don't have £20 million laying around," the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator shared.

"I don't know if Ryan does, but I don't think so. He might say he does but I would talk to Blake [Lively], because I would bet you he f------ doesn't."

As their financial situation began to sink in, Reynolds questioned what the two could do to help see the project through, joking, "I'll sell one of my children! I have four, I mean I don't even know their names!"

Speaking with PEOPLE earlier this month, Reynolds opened up about how he and his wife, 36, stress the importance of “self-awareness” to their four kids as well as sharing details of their daily routines.

“For me, the best time of my day is walking them to school and walking them back,” he said to PEOPLE at the event. “I think as parents, we are so much better equipped to handle the rigors of childhood through our kids now than when I was a kid."

"It’s just totally different now. People are much more self-aware," he continued. "And that’s the thing we sort of hang our hat on the most is self-awareness with our kids. Not be happy, not be anything, just be self-aware and welcome everything in.”
