He said things heated up between them on a train ride to Boston, and he knew their relationship was the real deal quickly. “Honestly, it was kind of one of those silly sort of like out of a fairytale,” he recalled of his early clarity on how he felt about her. “I was like, a week later, I was like, ‘We should buy a house together.’ … And we did.” Ryan also opened up about the challenges of at-home learning during the pandemic and praised Blake for her homeschooling skills, saying she was “so much better at it than” he was.
