Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock post hilarious birthday tribute for Betty White
Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock are teaming up to wish their friend Betty White a happy 98th birthday — and competing for her affection with a sweet Instagram tribute.
The two actors put together a video of themselves singing happy birthday to the Hollywood icon. But both put a twist on the lyrics by professing that they each love White more than the other.
“What does Sandy do for you every year? Does she like show up and hand-deliver flowers for you, wearing nothing but black socks and a dozen gold bracelets, just like you requested?” Reynolds joked mid-song. “Doubt it.”
Fans and friends of White commented on the post, including Mariah Carey who wrote, “Awww happy birthday Betty!! 💖💖 (Sidebar-you know I love that movie right??).”
One person wrote, “They don’t make them like Betty anymore. A true legend.” While another urged, “Can u be together in [a] movie again??”
Although it’s been over a decade since Reynolds, Bullock and White worked together for The Proposal, the three have evidently stayed close. Just last year, Reynolds wished White a happy birthday with another Instagram post where he referred to her as his “ex-girlfriend.”
