The producers describe the series as an “exploration of the human experience, offering insights into the deepest lows and failures that life can bring and how these adversities can serve as catalysts for redemption and ultimate triumph.”

The series will explore “the depths of failure using Kavanaugh’s life experiences while bringing guests from all walks of life who will share, similarly, their stories of failure…and how thestared into the abyss and emerged stronger, wiser, and resolute.”

Guests will come from the fields of entertainment, business, sports, politics and philanthropy.

Kavanaugh is often cited in Hollywood as a cautionary tale. A Forbes under 40 youngest billionaire, the exec produced dozens of movies and series at a young age, with some high-profile hits, and some notable disappointments.

The founder of Proxima Media and controlling shareholder of social media app Triller is well known for his colorful and turbulent run in the business, most notably as CEO of Relativity Media, where he brokered deals between Wall Street and studios. After initial success, the company filed for bankruptcy and Kavanaugh became embroiled in multiple lawsuits, including one with the company’s former co-president Adam Fields. Fields prevailed in his suit against Relativity for wrongful termination but Kavanaugh was successful in defeating multiple lawsuits against him. Relativity is now being operated by new parent company UltraV Holdings.

Kavanaugh said: “This show aims to bring you the unvarnished truth, something you won’t find in your typical watered-down content. We’re not here to sugarcoat or put on a facade; we’re all about digging deep, challenging the status quo, and presenting the raw, unfiltered dialogues that society craves but often avoids. It’s like peering behind the curtain, uncovering the authentic stories that shape our world.”

Failure unfolds in the most authentic of settings – capturing the essence of human struggle with an unyielding, guerrilla-style commitment,” said Jack Levy, executive producer at Manifest Media. “There are no scripts, no filters. Just pure, unfiltered storytelling.”

Lat year, Kavanaugh, in tandem with Proxima Media and Lifeboat Productions’ Amy Kim and Jaime Burke, launched production label The Quad, whose aim is to make 3-5 genre films per year in the $3 million-$12 million range.

Failure will be available on Apple, Spotify, iHeart, and other podcast platforms.
