"After discovering a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past abroad, a down on his luck basketball scout (Sandler) takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to the States without his team's approval," reads the film's logline. "Against the odds, they have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA."

Director Amanda Micheli offers a peek behind the sequined curtain at the life and career of superstar Jennifer Lopez in Halftime, a documentary that follows the singer, actress, and dancer as she embraces the second half of her career. The doc is set against the backdrop of her groundbreaking 2020 Super Bowl halftime performance.

Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller, and Jurnee Smollett star in Joseph Kosinski's Spiderhead, a sci-fi thriller based on writer George Saunders' New Yorker short story "Escape From Spiderhead." Teller and Smollett play two inmates who form a connection while grappling with their pasts in a penitentiary run by a scientist (Hemsworth) who experiments on his subjects with mind-altering drugs. "He has noble intentions, but there are some darker things lurking underneath the surface with him," Kosinski previously told EW.
