OC South reported on Sept. 12 that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had liberated 13 settlements in the southern area since the beginning of counter-offensive operations. The area of liberated territories is more than 500 square kilometers.

Humeniuk said in mid-September that Ukraine had established fire control over almost the entire territory of Kherson Oblast.
