JARED QUAY: John Wall returned to Washington DC for the first time since being traded to the Rockets. Even though he split from the team was pretty messy, apparently Washington's video team didn't hold no grudges, because they gave him this dope video tribute.

- --bigger than basketball.

- John Wall!

- John Wall with an incredible hang and score!

JARED QUAY: I mean, that's what I want. He even got a shout out from the District's mayor. She tweeted about how much Wall means to the District's community.

- Good for him.

JARED QUAY: Wasn't all good for Wall, though, because his old squad beat him. And Bradley Beal scored more points than him, and that's a no-no when you're trying to do a revenge game.

And you know what else isn't really good? Today's game between the Pistons and Spurs has been postponed because of COVID. Again? This is the 25th game put on hold by the league this season. COVID, leave us alone! It sucks and all, but it's not like the Pistons fans were going to get to watch Blake Griffin play anyways. Detroit said they're going sit Griffin until they can either trade him or buy him out. Well, good luck with that. This year's salary for Blake is just $37 million.

- Dollars?

JARED QUAY: Yes. And he's due for a $39 million dollar paycheck next year.

- Dollars like money?

JARED QUAY: You got to remember, the Pistons were playing for this Blake Griffin.

- Clutched the head, Blake Griffin. He'll go out with a slam dunk!

- It's a physical game!

- Oh me, oh my! A monster jam by Blake Griffin!

JARED QUAY: Blake was so much fun to watch during his Clipper days. I mean, the man jumped over a Kia to dunk a ball.

- (SINGING) Then I get to heaven.

- Blake Griffin! Look at the replay! He jumps over the car!

JARED QUAY: You know, I thought the Clippers curse was going to be over when Donald Sterling was no longer the owner of the team. But boy, was I wrong on that. In 2017, LA re-signed Blake to a massive contract. And remember how the Clippers staff celebrated wearing this T-shirt? They were comparing the star forward to the likes of MLK, JFK, Nelson Mandela, and Obama. Yeah, that ain't it. Then later that season, the Clippers traded Blake to Motown, and it's been downhill ever since. I'm blaming the T-shirt.

The Clippers curse strikes again, man. It's cold. Wanna know what else is cold? Most of the United States. I mean, I'm here in Phoenix, Arizona. But massive storms are making plenty of people miserable elsewhere, and that ain't good. But you want to know what is good? These videos of people having fun in the snow.

- Fastball, a hit to left field, down the line, in the corner, home run!
