JARED QUAY: Who's the more handsome person, you or Jimmy G?

GEORGE KITTLE: I'm not going to talk crap on myself, but he's got one hell of a chin line, man. He's a handsome dude. He's, he sweats, you know, olive oil, because he's Italian. It's just not even fair, man.

JARED QUAY: What's up, guys? I'm excited today, because I'm joined by 49ers all-pro tight end George Kittle. George, what's happening with you, brother?

GEORGE KITTLE: Hey, thanks for having me on. I'm excited to be here, and thank you for having me.

JARED QUAY: Earlier this year, you missed a couple of games. With the last couple of weeks, you've been able to suit up, and I'm hearing that you got kind of a secret recipe using Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt to help you get back on the field. Can you tell me about that?

GEORGE KITTLE: Yeah, luckily, this season I got to partner with Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt. It's a product that I've been using since high school. I really love it. And just the opportunity to work with them has been pretty incredible, but it's something that I use routinely, whether it's in the middle of the week or it's the night before games, I always do an Epsom salt bath, because it just takes some time to your self, and at the same time, it makes your muscles feel better, not be sore when you wake up in the morning, and just loose and ready to go. And that's pretty important, you know, when you're about to play a football game.

JARED QUAY: Yeah, I was shocked to find out that you take a bath once a week at least.

GEORGE KITTLE: Yeah, I shower often, but the bath is usually once or twice a week.

JARED QUAY: All right, George. Well, look here, this is the sports show. We've got to hit the hot topics. I was wondering if you would help me with the headlines.

GEORGE KITTLE: Let's go.

- Helping with headlines.

JARED QUAY: The Titans return to play with the win against Buffalo last night after missing two weeks because of positive COVID tests. Does missing that amount of time hurt or help the team?

GEORGE KITTLE: Well, in the middle of football season, I know that's tough. It really is, 'cause you want to get your routine down. You want to hit, hit a rhythm with the guys on the field, your offense. The benefits of it, definitely your body gets back, and you're rested. Everyone's going to be healthy. Everyone's going to be locked in.

So there's going, there's positives and negatives to it. I'd rather be playing, because, you know, having a two week bye is definitely tough. I know they're going to be ready to go. I know a couple guys on the team, and they're fired up and ready to play, so I'm excited to see them back in action. But like I said, there's negatives and positives to that, but you take the positives, I think you're going to be successful anyways.

JARED QUAY: So obviously, one of the heartbreakers of last weekend was Dak Prescott got injured, but Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones said he thinks Dak should be good to go by spring of next year. What was your reaction? Did you happen to see the injury, which is pretty gruesome?

GEORGE KITTLE: Yeah, I saw the replay. It was brutal. I mean, it was like we had just gotten off the field and I got, like, a notification on my phone, watched it. It was awful, and you know, you feel so bad for a guy that-- especially someone of his character and his talent. I mean, he's an incredible person, but he's also so much fun to watch on the football field, and I know how much he means to that team as a leader. But he's also the type of guy that's going to use this as motivation.

He's going to come back with a chip on his shoulder, and he's going to be ready to go. And he's got a lot of love and support, so when you have that much support, it makes coming back a little bit easier. So I know he has everyone in his corner, but yeah, I mean, the NFL, it's going to miss him.

JARED QUAY: Jimmy G recently posted that you should vote for him and you for the 2020 election, and I'm wondering, is that the winning ticket? Is the Garoppolo/Kittle ticket, the winning ticket?

GEORGE KITTLE: No, we're starting to make noise here in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I think we're getting a lot of votes out here, and, you know, we're just going to try to go state to state, you know, we got another opportunity to campaign here on Sunday night, and you know, the following week, [? we need ?] to go campaign back in New England. So you know, we got some opportunities to campaign, and we're just going to try to do our best.

JARED QUAY: Well, since you're running for office, I mean, obviously, there are some tough questions that need to be decided before people do that. So I've got to ask you, just in your opinion, who's the more handsome person, you or Jimmy G?

GEORGE KITTLE: Dude, uh, I'm not going to talk crap on myself, but he's got one hell of a chin line, man. That's, that's hard competition right there.

JARED QUAY: I mean, that bold, that's vulnerable for you to admit that, 'cause I thought the same thing. He's definitely a pretty handsome guy.

GEORGE KITTLE: He's a handsome dude. He's, he sweats, you know, olive oil, because he's Italian. It's just not even fair, man.
