SERENA WILLIAMS: I really cannot wait to return to New York and play the US Open 2020. This is crazy. I'm excited.

JARED QUAY: You better believe Serena Williams is excited! She only needs one more Grand Slam title to tie Margaret Court for the most of all time. And for a lot of reasons, this will be a great moment to wipe her name from the top of the leader boards.

HOMER SIMPSON: Come on, it's time for a change.

JARED QUAY: And while we're talking about making up for the past, my man, Colin Kaepernick, got an unlikely ally yesterday.

- When it comes to sports and kneeling, do you think Colin Kaepernick should get another shot in the NFL?

DONALD TRUMP: The answer is absolutely I would. As far as kneeling, I would love to see him get another shot.

JARED QUAY: No, you're not in the upside down. That was Donald Trump saying that Colin Kaepernick deserves a second chance, despite kneeling for the anthem, which is a long, long way from this.

DONALD TRUMP: Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out, he's fired, he's fired!

JARED QUAY: So, what changed? Well, it might have something to do with Chargers head coach, Anthony Lynn. Earlier in the day, he said that Kaep was on their workout list. So it looks like Kaepernick, may be getting another chance, regardless of what Trump thinks. It might also have something to do with Kyler Murray. The Cards QB said he's going to be kneeling this year to continue the dialogue around racial injustice. Baker Mayfield did, too. You know what? They might have change the Heisman.

[WHISTLE]

See, that's better. I like that. It could even be a little bit about Kyle Korver.

KYLE KORVER: If my black teammates and friends and brothers feel like that the best way to go about real change is to not play, I stand with them. I care more about change happening than a championship.

JARED QUAY: Or it could even be about the UNLV statue that I didn't know about, that looks like Zorro mixed with Yosemite Sam.

[GUNSHOTS]

Well, whatever it was, it had a racist origins and the school took it the [BLEEP] down. Or maybe, just maybe, the president changed his mind because everywhere he looks, including the English Premier League, people are getting on the right side of history.

- Look at this, as all of the players take the knee
