"The world needs these queens now more than ever," proclaims a new advertisement for RuPaul's All-Stars Drag Race season 2. "We take great pride in providing a platform for our all stars to shine bright. Because fierce is fierce is fierce is fierce is fierce is fierce," it continues, parroting Lin-Manuel's viral acceptance speech at the Tonys last week.
Former drag racers Adore Delano, Alaska, Alyssa Edwards, Coco Montrese, Detox, Ginger Minj, Katya, Phi Phi O'Hara, Roxxxy Andrews, and Tatianna will return for a second chance to take the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar" and join past winners like Bob the Drag Queen, Sharon Needles and Bianca Del Rio as Drag Race royalty.

The competition series will kick off with a 90-minute extravaganza on Aug. 25. Michelle Visage and Carson Kressley will return as judges, and it appears that YouTube sensation Todrick Hall will be taking Ross Matthews' chair on the panel.
Season five sees the most representation, accounting for five of the 10 queens. There are no Drag Racers from the first, third or most recent eighth season, and only one queen -- Adore -- represents season six.
The casting announcement leaves lots to speculate about: Will Adore's success on the U.S. Dance charts (her most recent album, After Party, hit No. 1) help her in the competition? Will Phi-Phi continue her role as the mean girl, or has she turned over a new leaf? And where the hell is Willam?
Do you think they got the casting correct?
