Six TV showrunners will reveal secrets behind their projects when they join Gold Derby’s special “Meet the Experts” Q&A event with 2024 Emmy Awards and other TV awards contenders. They will participate in two video discussions to premiere on Thursday, May 30, at 4:00 p.m. PT; 7:00 p.m. ET. We’ll have a one-on-one with our senior editor Ray Richmond and a roundtable chat with all of the group together.

Synopsis: Two strangers land jobs with a spy agency that offers them a life of espionage, wealth, and travel. The catch: new identities in an arranged marriage.

Bio: Francesca Sloane’s career has included “Seven Seconds,” “The First,” “Fargo” and “Atlanta.”

Platonic

Synopsis: Former childhood best friends reconnect as adults and try to get past the rift that led to their falling out.

Bio: Nicholas Stoller’s career has included “Muppets Most Wanted,” “Zoolander 2,” “Bros” and “Goosebumps.” Francesca Delbanco’s career has included “Friends from College.”

We Were the Lucky Ones

Synopsis: A Jewish family is determined to survive and reunite after being separated in World War II.

Bio: Erica Lipez’s career has included “Bates Motel,” “Tell Me Your Secrets,” “The Morning Show” and “Julia.”
