You've seen the photo.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding brought about a slew of instantly iconic moments on Saturday, but there is one photo that keeps on getting posted and shared all around the world, and now we know the story behind how it came to be.
The photo in question shows Meghan and Harry holding hands in their carriage as they left St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle -- but it's the angle of the shot from overheard that really makes it. The picture was taken by UK-based Press Association photographer Yui Nok, who tweeted the story behind the incredible photo.
"I was positioned on the roof of George IV Gateway of Windsor Castle, and they passed directly beneath me during their carriage procession," he explained. "I had less than a one-second window to take that particular shot -- whilst having to focus through a metal grill I was standing over -- so was happy to get anything really!"

One fan of the photograph pointed out that Harry and Meghan's positioning almost forms a heart, which Nok said was "purely coincidental."
"For that shot I used @CanonUKandIE 1Dx Mk2 camera and a 70-200mm lens," he said of the shot's specifics. "For other shots I had the @CanonProNetwork 600mm F4 (which is actually quite light for its size – just as well as I had to handhold it a lot of the time!) Drones would never have been allowed anywhere near."
Thanks, glad you like the photo. It was taken by myself, and I'm a staff photographer for @PA based in the UK. I was positioned on the roof of George IV Gateway of Windsor Castle, and they passed directly beneath me during their carriage procession. https://t.co/hkzViNhSbb

Purely coincidental. I had less than a one-second window to take that particular shot - whilst having to focus through a metal grill I was standing over - so was happy to get anything really!
