In honor of Princess Anne achieving a new career milestone, the British royal family released a striking portrait of the 73-year-old royal standing alone on social media.

Earlier this month, the Princess Royal attended an unveiling of the new Great Western Railway train (named in her honor) at the Paddington Station in London. A series of photos taken at the ceremony were posted on the Instagram page dedicated to the royal family.

The first slide (see below) is a solo photo of the mother of two smiling from ear to ear. While rocking a bright red lippie, Princess Anne dons a gray blazer with a chic turquoise blouse tucked underneath, featuring a neatly tied bow on the collar.

The rest of the slideshow features pics of the royal princess meeting royal admirers at the unveiling. The third slide shows a snap of a young girl handing the Princess Royal a bouquet of flowers and the royal smiles at the fan.

This is certainly not the first striking portrait the royal fam has shared of Princess Anne. Back in February, a slideshow filled with photos taken of the Princess Royal attending an Off the Streets event was posted on the royal family’s Instagram account.

One gorgeous snap of the royal shows her smiling while looking off into the distance. In the portrait, Princess Anne wears a set of gold stud earrings and a dark navy plaid trench coat.

The caption shared more information about the London-based group, which aims to eradicate knife crime in local communities. It read, “Since its formation, the group has placed 203 Bleed Kits (medical kits specifically designed to treat stab wounds) across Northamptonshire, with 4 already being used to save lives in emergency situations.”

Looking regal as always, Princess Anne.
