The Queen arrived by train at King's Lynn this morning, dressed in a light pink coat, with a smile on her face. She was driven to Sandringham from there, a few hours after her husband had already left to the hospital.

She has started her Christmas break just a day after giving her speech at the State Opening Of Parliament that talked about Boris Johnson's plans for Brexit.

With all her engagements this year, the Queen is well-deserving of a holiday break with her family.

Amid all the controversy surrounding Prince Andrew it was unknown what he would do surrounding the family Christmas plans.

However, just a couple of days ago he was seen rolling up to the Queen's Christmas lunch. Various reports have come out saying he may skip the walk to church with the rest of the family on Christmas morning, being that's it's unknown how the public would react, but this is still unconfirmed.

A Buckingham Palace statement said earlier in the summer, “The Duke of York is still a part of the royal family and you can expect to see him at family occasions."

So, we'll have to wait and see if he turns up.

As usual, we're looking forward to seeing the royals on their annual walk on Christmas day!
