Roxanne Pallett: 'I'm the most hated girl in Britain'

Roxanne Pallett returned to Celebrity Big Brother last night, but instead of reentering the house, she was interviewed by host Emma Willis regarding the now infamous ‘punch’ row.

Willis asked the former Emmerdale actress if she would be reaching out to Ryan Thomas’ family and friends to apologise following her ‘punch’ row allegations.

“No and I wouldn’t impose on them like that…I can’t apologise enough for trying to label someone that they’re clearly not,” she replied.

She went on to brand herself as “the most hated hated girl in Britain” and when Willis probed if she felt she deserved such a title she responded:

“It’s the title I feel everyone has given me at the moment. All I can do is own it, accept it and apologise,” she said.

“I am scared about the future but to be honest Emma I need to just think about today,” she continued.

And as the interview drew to a close Pallett became tearful, to which Willis responded by taking off her earpiece and saying, “Thanks everybody.”

This was Pallett’s second interview since leaving the Big Brother house, the first being with Jeremy Vine that morning.

During this interview she offered many grovelling apologies and confessed, “I got it wrong” regarding the ‘punch.’

Pallett made national headlines after accusing former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas of punching her while in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Sparking over 11,000 Ofcom complaints, with the majority complaining that Pallett had exaggerated the severity of the incident, she left the Big Brother house on Friday night.

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm.
