There’s no need to warm up your stove for the Jewish High Holy Days – plenty of local restaurants are happy to do the cooking for you.

Here are some of the local menus offered across the county for Rosh Hashana, which runs from sundown Sunday, Sept. 25, to sundown Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Max’s Grille, Boca Raton

This Mizner Park mainstay is offering a batch of a la carte dine-in specials Sunday and Monday after 5 p.m.

Starters include traditional matzo ball soup ($11) and a salad of tart apples, arugula, radicchio, toasted walnuts and cider-honey dressing ($13). Main plates include roasted half chicken ($28), pan-roasted salmon ($37) and slow-roasted brisket with prunes, carrots, potatoes and sautéed spinach ($34). For dessert, there are coconut-almond macaroons ($10).

Located at the Delray Marketplace, Burt and Max’s is serving a dine-in menu that’s similar to its sibling restaurant, Max’s Grille. The a la carte specials will be offered after 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday.

Appetizers include chopped chicken liver ($13), matzo ball soup ($9) and apples-and-honey salad with toasted walnuts and arugula ($12). Entree options are slow-roasted brisket with prunes, carrots, latkes and spinach ($31), roasted half chicken ($26) and slow-roasted salmon with roasted sweet potatoes ($29). For dessert, there’s warm apple-cranberry strudel with vanilla ice cream and caramel ($9).

The West Palm Beach-based TooJay’s deli chain has dine-in and takeout Rosh Hashana meal deals on Sunday and Monday.

You get the full soup-to-nuts treatment for the price of your entrée. The main plates include herbed roasted half chicken ($26), brisket platter ($29.49) and baked salmon with dill sauce ($29.99).

With your holiday entrée, you get matzo ball soup, mini potato pancakes, carrot tzimmes, gefilte fish or chopped liver, dessert (including mini black and white cookies and honey cake), plus coffee or tea. Dine-in customers also get a glass of kosher wine.

Tropical Smokehouse, West Palm Beach

This Florida-inspired barbecue spot will have a twist on traditional brisket for holiday takeout. And according to Tropical Smokehouse’s social media messaging, it’s “not your bubby’s brisket.”

This is Certified Angus Prime beef brisket that’s pit-smoked over hickory and oak wood. It’s served with a sweet and sour tomato sauce made from caramelized braised vegetables, tomatoes, aromatics and honey. The briskets are pre-sliced and are ready to serve after you warm them up for about a half-hour in the oven.

The Rosh Hashana briskets are priced at $95 for half, $180 for whole. They can be ordered at EatTropical.com (under “upcoming events”) and picked up Sunday, Sept. 25, between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Uncle Pinkie's Market and Deli

Located next to Boca Raton's Rebel House, its sibling restaurant Uncle Pinkie's is offering a full Rosh Hashanah takeout dinner on Sept. 25 and 26.

The holiday special, which serves four to six and costs $275, includes smoked trout salad, chopped liver, a round of challah, a large chopped salad, matzo ball soup, brisket, truffled potato knish, noodle kugel, maple-miso-glazed carrots and Brussels, plus upside-down apple honey cake.

A small national chain of kosher Jewish delis with a Boca Raton location, Ben’s has an assortment of Rosh Hashana packages for takeout. The carry-out (or delivery) dinners serve six or 10.

Dinner for six (priced at $259.94) includes gefilte fish, chopped liver, chicken noodle soup, matzo balls, a choice of entrée (brisket, turkey breast or roast chicken with stuffing), a choice of two side dishes (such as sweet potato pudding and kasha varnishkes pasta), plus accompaniments (coleslaw, carrot tzimmes, cranberry-pineapple compote and a round of challah).

Dinner for 10 (priced at $399.90) includes a dozen mini stuffed cabbage rolls, chopped liver, gefilte fish, chicken noodle soup, matzo balls, a choice of entrée (chicken and stuffing, brisket or turkey), two sides, plus accompaniments.

A la carte holiday desserts include honey sponge cake ($12.99), fruit salad bowl ($29.99) and rugelach (two pounds for $35.98).

Rosh Hashana orders can be made at 1-800-344-BENS (2367) with a minimum of 48 hours before pickup/delivery. Orders must be $100 or more.

The deli restaurant closes for the High Holy Days at 4 p.m. Sunday and will not reopen until Wednesday.

How about Rosh Hashana dinner at an Italian restaurant? This Boca Raton ristorante is serving a traditional holiday meal Sunday and Monday for $68, plus tax and tip.

Novello’s holiday menu includes a gefilte fish appetizer, a choice of matzo ball soup or house salad, a choice of entree (beef brisket, roasted half chicken with fresh herbs or broiled salmon with a Champagne-mustard sauce), plus a side of tzimmes and apple cake for dessert.
